Postering is especially fun when you make your own paste. It's best when you're planning to hit the town in a small group and then the "cooking" stage is kind of like some witchcraft spellcasting ritual. Which is funny seeing that in some towns i know there are real flyposting witch-hunts going on where bands have council officials and police turning up at their gigs. My friend Mary told me that once a ship was wrecked offshore somewhere in north England in the old days, the ship contained monkeys one of which swam to shore. The locals never having seen a monkey before beleived it to be a French spy so they put it on trial and later hanged it. For real!
